Was it just me or was the Oscars red carpet entirely more enticing than the actual awards show? Sorry, but that was a big snooze fest. Yay Argo won and Ben went home with the golden statue. No way I was able to sit through almost 3 hours of that just to see who won for best film.
On to why everyone really watched the Oscars Red Carpet – Who Wore It Best and the one thing that was obviously missing this year – COLOR. Not only did celebrities shy away from dressing with color, there was so much pasty white skin it was shocking.
Au natural is appealing in many ways but there is something to be said for glowing, healthy looking skin.
Oscars 2013 Top Picks:
Stacy Keibler in a stunning Naeem Khan gown. Hair was perfect and the dress fit her perfectly.
Naomi Watts was perfection in metallic wearing Armani Prive dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Roger Vivier bag, and Neil Lane jewels. The design was unexpected and unique and not everyone could pull this off. You definitely need the right body.
I’m a big fan of Amy Adams who truly looked stunning in an Oscar de la Renta gown and Mouawad jewelry. I loved how delicate she looks.
Sandra Bullock was gorgeous in a Elie Saab dress, carrying a Daniel Swarovskiclutch with gold chain. Hair and makeup – perfection!
Jennifer Lawrence rocked the red carpet, making everyone’s Oscar Best Dressed List in a Dior Haute Couture dress, Chopard jewels, a Roger Vivier clutch, and Brian Atwood shoes.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about Charlize Theron’s choice to wear this white Christian Dior Haute Couture dress. I thought she pulled it off exquisitely.
