With the holidays coming up, there is always so much traveling to do. Even if you’re not hopping on a jet plane, you never know when you might find yourself out on a couple’s – or girlfriends’ – weekend getaway.
While I have my favorites, as far as my daily beauty routine go, it can be a bit of a hassle to pack it all up for a trip.
The solution? Keep a separate toiletry bag that you can grab and go in a moments notice.
CVS is a great place to stock up on toiletries that can keep you happy for a few days and nights. Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleaning Cloths – I really hate how dirty traveling can me make feel. These clothes can hold me over – and make me feel fresh – until that hot, hotel shower. Plus, the packaging is so slim, this can easily slip into your purse.
2. Curel Ulta Healing Intensive Lotion – Traveling and winter can be a a real moisture sucker for your skin. This lotion will help relieve that dry, cracked feeling.
3. Neutrogena Ulta Gentle Daily Cleanser and Oil Free Moisture – Neutrogena has always been a great drug store brand. The gentleness of the cleanser and moisturizer will make your face feel clean and refreshed.
4. Listerine Ultra Clean – I’m not a huge fan of gum, so mouthwash is always in my travel bag. A little rinse-and-spit of this will freshen your breath between brushes.
5. Suave Moroccan Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner – Besides for my skin drying out during traveling, my hair also tends to act up. This duo keeps my hair looking great with an added touch of shine.
6. CVS Cleansing and Makeup Remover – One thing I never try to do is to fall asleep with makeup on. Between being tried from traveling and late nights during the trip, these wipes are kept by my bedside so that I have no excuse for removing my makeup before hitting the sack.
