Back to school is in full swing, but I’m still shopping away for necessary supplies. The older the girls get I realize it takes a few weeks to get acclimated to a routine and determine those must-have back to school products we love.
Each year I’m always on the hunt for fun back to school products that will make our life easier and hopefully yours too! Here are a few of my favorites – many we are loyal fans and some are new.
Back to School Products We Love!
Smarty Pants Vitamins: A new brand of vitamins for us, the girls are going crazy for these and I feel a good knowing Smarty Pants is the first all-one high quality gummy vitamin that has bio-available ingredients including organic sugar and tapioca syrup. 100% Non-GMO; No High Fructose Corn Syrup, Artificial Sweeteners, Colors, Flavors or Preservatives; Gluten and Casein Free. Each serving includes a full multivitamin, Omega 3s EPA and DHA, 600 IUs of Vitamin D3, and 67 mcg of B12.
Garnet Hill Lunch Boxes & Backpacks: This is our second year purchasing Garnet Hill Backpacks and Lunch Boxes. You can score on sale and catch their “$5 lunch box” promotion that is happening right now. The girls love the bright bold colors and unique patterns. The bags hold up so well that technically we could use for another year, but isn’t that the fun of back to school – new stuff?
Lunch skins Snack Sandwich Bags: First spotted at Whole Foods Chicago, I was immediately drawn to the bold colors and funky patterns like oranges, sharks, whales, pears and bike wheels. Available in different sizes and made with food-safe fabric that is BPA free, lead free and phthalate free. I also loved the company was created by a group of moms who wanted to influence a generation of kids who think that green is mainstream while giving them the tools to be influencers in their schools and communities using reusable bags.
Plum Organics Fruit & Veggie Mashups: Tired of plain boring applesauce? We’re loving Plum Organic’s apple sauce pouches made from organic fruits and veggies like Carroty Chop (mixing carrots, apples and mango), Beetbox Berry (apples, beets, berries) and Tropical (apples, bananas, mango) flavors. Combining the natural sweetness of colorful fruits kids love, Mashups have the extra nutrients from veggies parents love without added sugar, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats and artificial ingredients.
Mabel’s Labels Back to School Combos: I couldn’t survive without Mabel’s Labels. If everything is not labeled before it leaves the house, the chances of it returning are pretty slim. Everything from water bottles, lunch boxes, backpacks, clothes and even shoes – we label it all! This year I ordered the Ultimate Back-to-School Combo – it’s a back to school must-have for every household. These make great gifts too.
Hello Products: We introduced Hello toothpaste a few months ago and the fun unique flavors have been a big hit. What’s not to love about Supermint, Pink Grapefruit Mint and Peach Mango Mint? Hello is taking oral hygeniene to the next level. Did I mention not only are they known for super cool flavors, their toothpaste is free from preservatives, dyes, triclosan, microbeads and artificial sweeteners, and they rock xylitol and stevia.
Refresh2Go Water Filtered Bottles: These are our favorite water bottles especially for school! Created by a Chicago mom of two, Refresh2Go Water Bottles provide filtered water on-the-go. No matter where you are (i.e.: school water fountains, the park) you can feel good that the tap water they are consuming is being stripped of the nasty stuff.
One filter can filter 40 gallons of water – that comes to about two months of everyday use. Refrsh2Go filters are made from all natural, coconut shell carbon that reduces chlorine taste and odor often found in tap water. The bottles are BPA free and can be washed on the top-rack of your dishwasher.
Thanks to Savvy Sassy Moms for sending us a Back to School #ScoutBox with some amazing brands. All opinions about these products are honest and we only share what we truly love.
