One of my favorite things about owning a single-family home is having a front porch and backyard patio. Our outdoor spaces have become second living areas. After city living for over ten years, surviving condo life with no outdoor space or small balconies with the view of power lines and dumpsters, we appreciate and use every square foot!
Because Tim had very little input on the interior of trampoline and garden.
Our first summer in the house, we purchased an Kmart for the #SummerBlowout sale – the perfect opportunity to invest in new patio furniture, outdoor decor and games.
Shopping Kmart Patio Furniture
After visiting a store near my mom’s home in Florida, we took advantage of so many summer deals even prior to the here.}
Between in-store and online shopping, there were so many summer items like apparel, outdoor toys and home decor, it was difficult to make a decision. I wanted it ALL!
Chairs for the fire pit needed to comfy and not too bulky. I found these beautiful citronella candle with wooden base.
Shopping the Kmart patio furniture selection online was quick and included free shipping. Our chairs arrived within a few days and took a few minutes to assemble.
I love the way the chairs and pillows update the fire pit compared to our previous furniture.
And every backyard should have a bean bag toss {aka corn hole}! We have so much fun playing as a family and it gets the kids away from screens.
In my efforts to be “healthy” I attempted to create organic s’mores that didn’t go over very well. At least I tried and how about this presentation {galvanized steel tray, lantern with rope}?
I guess this is one of those times you just eat the junk and call it a day?
So Chic Tip: I love serving cold beverages in Copper Mugs. The copper slows ice from melting, it’s shatter proof and a chic look!
We’re still looking for an outdoor dining set and these were some of our top picks {here}. For now, we’ll be chilaxing on our new chairs, sipping wine and roasting marshmallows this summer!
