SMITC Interview with Jill:
- What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I can juggle cigar boxes. I was in a circus once. Don’t ask. - What’s your “secret” to being Sassy?
My husband. But beyond that sappy reality, I’m addicted to getting haircuts. That always helps the sassification process. - What’s your favorite place in the city for a date night and why?
Schubas. It’s my favorite music venue in the city – the acoustics are incredible. They always have a solid lineup of artists, and there’s a restaurant right next door! - Why are you so passionate about helping other moms in business?
Each month that I meet with these extraordinary women at our Founding Moms’ Exchanges, I’m inspired all over again to do better and try harder. The fire keeps burning, and I’m just grateful for this community of Founding Moms. - What is your guilty pleasure when you get a little coveted ‘me’ time?
Chocolate. Is there anything else? - What are your 3 tips for mompreneurs trying to balance their business and family (aka – Having it ALL!)?
- There is no such thing as balance. Stop seeking it and you’ll feel a lot better about your day.
- Try out a schedule on a sticky note. Start with the family commitments and hours your kiddos are with you. Go from there—it’s amazing how creative you can get.
- Don’t work around your kids, work with them.
