Going Paleo means preparing Paleo Super Bowl Chili, right? Since launching Sassy Moms in the City I’ve shared my favorite recipes but neither have been Paleo friendly. Since transitioning into the Paleo lifestyle, I’ve steered clear of chili because without the beans it basicially becomes ground beef soup. Yuck.
Yes you can get creative and use peppers, mushrooms, carrots, butternut squash and/or zucchini. I’m not that usually that adventurous when it comes to altering my favorite chili recipe, but today I may throw in a finely chopped zucchini and hope for the best. Most Paleo chili recipes I come across receive great reviews but today the family requested “normal” chili so who am I to deny them?
I’ll be rooting for the 49ers today how about you??
