This review comes at the perfect time, just as I was considering a very expensive facial device. I’d recently had a unsuccessful experience purchasing a lower priced device and it was returned after one use. Convinced that spending the big bucks was the solution, Spa Sonic has definitely impressed and made me think much differently.
Available in major online retailers, including for $59.99, Spa Sonic is a great alternative enhancing your daily skin care routine without spending as much on other higher priced facial devices on the market. Their kit includes the main device, a large brush for your body, (2) small brushes for the face, facial sponge, pumice for rough areas and four batteries. Replacement brushes (facial, sponge and pumice) are $9.95 for two and $11.95 for two body brushes.
Spa Sonic has delivered big results. Using on a daily basis morning and night, I’ve noticed my pores are significantly smaller and my skin seems firmer, especially around my mouth. I started seeing those dreadful “smile” lines starting to appear, but after using Spa Sonic the lines are definitely less noticeable and the skin is fuller. I also noticed that the size of the smaller brush enabled the device to reach the crevices around my nose and go much deeper than a larger brush.
When cleansing your face, it’s important to use a headband and keep your hair back to avoid being caught in the device. The product I purchased originally was extremely unstable and literally wrapped a section of hair around the brush within seconds. I was hopeful the Spa Sonic would offer a better experience.
I’m happy to report that the Spa Sonic operates smoothly and the gentle circular motion feels like a mini facial massage. It’s heavenly and so relaxing. The pumice left my feet baby smooth, another bonus in between pedicures! Being water resistant and safe to use in the shower saves me time in the morning.
