Happy Sunday friends! Hope you are having a restful weekend. Yes – restful. Saturday and Sunday are the days we rest and re-energize for the upcoming week. That means family time and one or two activities max. Yesterday I took the girls to see Frozen Sing Along with a group of friends from school. As much as I love the movie, I wasn’t looking forward to sitting through it for the third time. However nothing is cuter than 20+ first graders singing Let It Go, Build a Snowman, In Summer and Love is an Open Door as loud as possible. Adorable! Highly recommend it.
Curious to know if you’ve tried any of the new meatless recipes?? You may notice this week is simply titled “Weekly Meal Plan”. Not adhering to strictly Paleo, Vegan or Raw it seems easier to focus on sharing recipes that work for our family. It’s been an interesting few weeks planing meals and so far not too much has been rejected. My girls aren’t really into meat to begin with so they haven’t missed it.
Exploring any new lifestyle takes patience and consistency. Not everyone can go all out immediately and sometimes it’s not the best idea – longevity is the goal. If you’re eating Paleo transitioning to a 90% plant based diet is not as difficult. If you’re looking to overhaul your eating habits, I’d recommend exploring Paleo first.
If venturing into the Beauty Detox worlds seems daunting, try taking baby steps in threes. You can do anything three times, right? Below are three simple ways to get started without going crazy.
Baby Steps in Threes:
- Drink a Green Glowing Smoothie (3 mornings)
- Replace Coffee with Green Tea (3 days)
- Eat a green salad before meals (3 nights)
