By now I think many of us are familiar with Bare Escentuals. Their foundation is well-known – it’s actually won a handful of awards. But one of the reasons why I like Bare Escentual products is because they are natural – the list of ingredients is super short. (And who doesn’t love that?!)
I had gotten a sample of the Bare Minerals Eyecolor in Precious from their Brown EyeColor line. This shade looks a bit dark in the package, but actually applies more on the sheer side.
I used this eyecolor for an evening look. The shimmer of it accompanied my smokey eye very well. I applied the eyecolor as a dry powder, but another option would be to apply it wet. This would provide more of an opaque coverage.
Overall, I’d say the eyecolor lasted the evening. It stayed pretty well put and didn’t collect in the crease of my eyelid like some other eye shadows tend to do. My only personal issue is that the color is too shimmery for wearing during the day – but I do have friends who love wearing a little sparkle day and night!
If you’re looking for stocking stuffers for your favorite ladies, a little jar or two of Bare Minerals eyecolor would be perfect. The shades of the eyecolor are created from natural sources, which makes the colors very flattering on all skin tones.
