I’m a mascara junky and have a very high standard for what I will and will not use to lengthen my lashes. This actually began in high school. Probably because my eyes are a little small and I’m constantly trying to make them appear bigger. Much bigger.
Somewhere along the way drugstore brands weren’t cutting it and I turned into a mascara snob purchasing only at department stores. Price is a non issue when it comes to cosmetics. If it the product works, I’ll buy it.
My opinion changed after using CoverGirl Natureluxe Mousse Mascara.
I remember receiving from P&G at a media event but didn’t give it much thought. Like I said, mascara snob.
Last month after running out of my normal brand, I grabbed the tube and gave it a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised.
It’s extremely lightweight and does a great job lengthening my lashes. According to CoverGirl’s website, it seems they removed a heavy synthetic and replaced with a “light touch of nature”.
Mmm. Not sure what that means exactly, but it does the job.

Retailing around $7.99, CoverGirl Natureluxe Mousse Mascara is a great option for daytime. For evening I prefer a little more volume, but for everyday use it’s perfect.
