I’m always drawn to companies that empower women. I mean, there are some sad statistics out there regarding men’s versus women’s salaries. Did you know that women make 77 cents for every dollar that men make? That’s so not right.
That’s why when I come across a business like CAbi, I can’t help but to think about what a positive message they send for women who want to be independent.
If you haven’t heard of CAbi yet, think of them like this – they’re a mix between your typical in-home shopping experience, but with fabulous clothes. You can have a CAbi consultant come to your house, meet with you and your closest girlfriends, and you can all socialize and try out the latest trends together. Sounds like fun, right?!

To make the event even more exciting, actress Geena Davis was the featured speaker! Geena has really done her homework on equality and women’s empowerment. She shared some very real facts about the stereotypes that occur all too often through media and daily situations.
One of the main reasons that Geena Davis has partnered with CAbi, is that they both want women to be empowered.
I have to say, after leaving the CAbi Career Event, I felt motivated. I also felt like shopping! CAbi carries some super stylish pieces that look really functional and really versatile. I saw this lovely gray blazer that I would wear – plus I could picture at least five of my girlfriends rocking the same piece!
