If you live in Chicago you may be familiar with Corri McFadden, owner and founder of eDrop-Off. At 29, Corri is running a multi-million dollar business with over 30 employees and one of the est online e-bay consignment stores in the country. It’s safe to say that after March 21st and the premiere of House of Consignment on VH1, non Chicagoans will know Corri and the eDrop-Off team!
What makes eDrop-Off so special? They only accept and resell high end and designer items, making luxury more affordable and accessible. With an inventory that boasts over 150,000 transactions on ebay, eDrop-off specializes in premium jewelry, shoes, handbags and clothing from the likes of Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Jimmy Choo.
I had the opportunity to meet Corri and take a tour of her amazing space at a CRAVE event where she shared her experience as a successful entrepreneur. While Corri makes it look effortless, she is the first to admit the road to success has included a few bumps along the way.
The boutique on Halsted really sets the stage for a luxury experience the minute you open the door. The space is beautiful, hip and chic but back of the house where all the action takes place, is beyond impressive. With a designer inventory that would make any fashionista’s shopping dream come true, it was amazing to learn the logistics of auctioning previously loved items.
Corri and the eDrop-off team star in a reality series on VH1 which premieres Wednesday, March 21st at 10/9CST.
eDrop-Off caters to clients both locally and nationwide offering free pickups, closet consultations, styling and more. http://www.shopedropoff.com/
