Let’s face it life gets busy and as a family of four, things can get really messy around here. The biggest messes occur in high traffic areas like the kitchen and mudroom. Whether I’m cooking (so not a tidy chef), after meals (why does so much food end up on the floor??) or coming home (bringing the outdoors in thanks to such a terrible winter) – it can get pretty dirty around here.
Everyone pitching in and having the right equipment helps us keep things under control. The girls love sweeping and were eager to give the new Swiffer Sweep and Trap (available at Target) a test run.
Like the Swiffer Sweeper, the Sweep and Trap uses dry cloths picking up dirt, dust and hair but also includes rotating blades that picks up large particles and flicks them into a dirt bin. The combination creates a product that cleans up big and small messes.
It took just a few minutes to put together and the girls had a blast cleaning up the aftermath from breakfast and dinner. They argued over who got to sweep and begged to use the following day. The Swiffer Sweep and Trap is now their designated job.
