A couple of weeks ago, I took a trip with 22 of my closest family members. (It was nice to escape from reality for a good seven days!) During the week, I also took a break from my regular beauty routine and opted to try out some new products.
Well, you all know how traveling can wreak havoc on your skin. Mine own skin tends to look dry and tired when I travel – and that’s not attractive at all! Plus, being on vacation with so many people, we were always going out late, or waking up early to do stuff.
One of the products that I tested was a full-sized Kiehl’s Cryste Marine Eye Cream. This eye cream is said to, “help minimize under-eye dark circles while refreshing and hydrating skin.” That’s a pretty promising statement to live up to, but the eye cream did work really well!
The cream itself is very light, and there is no fragrance to it. (That’s a plus in my book!) It applied smoothly, and soaked right into my skin. Every morning I woke up looking refreshed. There were no bags or dark circles under my eyes – which is pretty impressive considering I got less sleep on vacation than I get during a typical week.
Another thing to point out – I’m a contacts wearer. I’m picky about what creams I put that close to my eyes. But the Cryste Marine Eye Cream did not bother my eyes one bit.
After vacation, I went back to my regular skin care regimen, alternating this eye cream with the one I use daily. And seriously, I haven’t noticed a difference between this one and my regular – expect for the price. The Kiehl’s Cryste Marine Eye Cream is half as much as the eye cream that I regularly use.
