We’ve been spending the last few weeks soaking up the Florida sun and I’m kinda proud of our killer tans. Living through so many months of dismal weather (thanks Chicago), nothing makes me happier than the sun, sand, swimming and lots of quality family time.
Every summer we head to the Florida panhandle to visit my family {where I grew up}. It’s nice that my kids get to spend time with their cousins, GG, aunt and uncle and several of my childhood friends.
We travel with most of what we need to survive a few weeks away from home, but one of our traditions is to shop for new Kmart just in time for their Summer Blowout and I’m excited to share all the deals we scored.
I’ll share a little secret…The Kmart by my mom’s house is rad and our go-to while in town. The girls love shopping for stylish clothes, bathing suits and beach towels. I love the prices…

Outdoor Games: Everyone needs a water balloons are always a big hit.
Beach and Pool Supplies: We stocked up on new body boards, found sunscreen majorly on sale, Bluetooth speaker (listening to my favorite jams relaxing poolside is the only way to go). A few summers ago we found the best lifejackets at Kmart for the boat – tons of options.
Outdoor Living: I’ve been searching for new outdoor furniture and purchased these outdoor lanterns to create the perfect ambiance for al fresco entertaining.

Sadly, our local Kmart recently closed. I used to find so many great items there especially when I was hosting a party and needed extra plates, platters, etc.
