I love a good lip color! It makes for such an easy morning routine! Being a working mom with two little kids, I appreciate a few short cuts in the mornings. One time-saving thing that I do is focus my daily make-up routine on my lips.
These Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Glosses are perfect. They are a gloss, so it is easy to control how much color you want on your lips. Looking for light coverage? Just give one swipe…or even two. Want the color to be darker? Add four coats to your lips.
You can tell from looking at the pictures, that I’ve really been using the Berry Allure shade. It’s such a great color for fall. The other shade here, Kiss Me Coral, is a fun orange, it just has a few too many sparkles for me to wear everyday.
I also picked up the Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Fatal Apple. That is in my desk drawer at work.
I tend to do that when I find something at the drugstore that I love. I buy a bunch (because they’re super cheap), and then leave them in certain places…my desk, my purse, the car, a jacket pocket… That way, I always have some lip color if I’m rushing out the door and need to look presentable.
These glosses are very easy to apply. Plus, the color doesn’t bleed. You have no idea how many glosses, balms, and lipsticks I’ve bought that started to run within hours of wear. These won’t.
One other thing to point out, unfortunately, they are a little sticky. If you have longer hair, I wouldn’t use this product on a windy day…or at least wait until you get indoors to apply.
If you’re not a fan of glosses, Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are equally fabulous. They have been a favorite of mine for over a year.
