This week I was invited to visit Red Mango, one of the fastest-growing retailers of all-natural frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies to sample one of 22 brand new superbiotic summer smoothies. I’ve driven past the cute Red Mango sign, but haven’t given it much thought until today.
Wow! Why have I NOT been to Red Mango before now?? We stopped by after lunch when it couldn’t get any hotter to cool off and relax. Not surprising, within minutes Red Mango was packed with moms and kids.
Taking a moment to review the menu, the first thing that caught my eye were the calories next to each beverage. For someone trying to manage caloric intake, I found this extremely helpful. I selected the Super Berry Flower Power smoothie and E tried the Just Kidd’n Straw-My-Berry Swirl Smoothie. We loved them both!
The new superbiotic smoothies are centered around four lifestyle categories:
- Body Balance: Flavorful and functional yogurt smoothies formulated with beneficial boosts
- All Fruit Harmony: Refreshing dairy-free and soy-free smoothies made only with fruit, juice and ice.

I was impressed with the wide range of treats, not to mention the self serve all-natural yogurt bar. The amount of flavors were endless and provided something for every sweet tooth imaginable. From coconut to Irish coffee to cinnamon to ginger, the flavors were so unique and nothing like I’ve seen in any local yogurt shop.
After filling your cup with frozen yogurt, next stop is the extensive toppings bar offering healthy fruit and nuts to cereal and candy. Once you’re satisfied, on the scale you go. Cost is based on the weight of your one of a kind creation.
Red Mango is also introducing a new line of smoothie boosters. In addition to protein, energy, immunity and multivitamin boosts currently available, four new boosts formulated with natural, wholesome and innovative ingredients have been added to the menu.
