We’re keeping things low key Super Bowl Sunday, but that won’t stop me from preparing some of our favorite game day recipes. This is one of those days we may splurge just a little and definitely won’t be strict Paleo or gluten free.
I’ll try not to over indulge but preparing this menu is making me hungry!
- Game Day Chili: One my favorite chili recipes. It’s a big hit with the fam.
- Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Tacos: Super easy – I mean 5 ingrediants and all in one pot! Transports well if you need something to contribute to a Super Bowl party.
- Touchdown Burgers with Parsnip Puree (Vegan): This burger and puree will blow your mind! Last night I attended a cooking event at Le Cordon Bleu hosted by Now Foods. Chef Suzy Singh shared her yummy recipe and we had the opportunity to prep ourselves. You won’t care or notice that it’s vegan, dairy and gluten free.
- Bean Dip and keep the other ingredients simple. Takes only a few minutes to prepare.
- Organic Coconut Milk .
- Frito Chili Pie: This always reminds me of my childhood. Southerners love their Frito pie. Add your Game Day Chili and whatever garnishes (sour cream, cheese, jalapeños, etc) over Frito Corn chips. Boom – you’re done!
Obviously you don’t need to make all of these items but it’s a good variety to choose from.
Hosting your own soiree? I love this Super Bowl party checklist from Real Simple magazine.
