I’m Sarah from Fashion Friday!
When I was in high school I worked at a my uncle’s local shoe store in Iowa. I only worked during sales or really busy weekends and was paid in shoes!! I know, that sounds amazing, however the store was mostly for orthopedic shoes.
At first I didn’t understand or realize why there was such a big market for shoes that were designed for comfort first. Eventually I came to value and look at this type of footwear differently.
Don’t get me wrong, stilettos are usually my go-to shoe, however why can’t shoes be be comfortable and chic?
After trying on a pair of wedge booties bypediped, an award winning kid’s shoe line.
I wore the playCHIC fashion show. Not only were these super comfy, I received so many compliments! I loved the height of the boot shaft – extending over the ankle. It’s the perfect height to wear with skirts (like I did), leggings or under pants. Did you notice the design of the 3.5″stacked heel? It’s so unique, giving the boots an edgier look.
The Brian James wedge bootie is available in Noir or Charcoal Suede, features a cushioned insole with arch support and extra padding on both the ball and heel of foot. Each pair includes a dust bag.
I would recommend this brand for anyone, the quality of shoes is great and the comfort of the booties is awesome.
