Welcome to Beauty Buzz! Each Tuesday we co-host a beauty link up with the fabulous ladies from Mama in Heels to link up with us.
April is sharing her Wet Brush review. How adorable is her daughter??
Any of you parents out there with daughters can probably agree with me that brushing girls’ hair is a major pain. I’ve even tried special conditioners and buying cute little hair brushes – no such luck. Recently I’ve just embraced the homeless look for my five-year-old. If you can’t beat ’em…
No sooner did I stop caring, that my aunt went to some beauty expo downtown. She came back with two “wet” brushes – one for me and one for my daughter.
The Wet Brush brands themselves as the “best detangling brush ever”. They say that the brush can be used on wet or dry hair to help detangle without any ouchies.
Sounds too good to be true.
But let me tell you, the brush freaking works! It’s completely painless! We’ve been using our brushes for over a week, and we haven’t picked up our old brushes since.
The “magic” of the Wet Brush is the specially formulated IntelliFlex bristles. They are thin, but very strong and flexible. They also have these SofTips on the bristles that are guaranteed not to fall off. (Have you ever had those little tips fall off your brush bristles? Oh boy, that hurts when you brush!)
I’m not sure what’s more exciting? The fact that these brushes are completely amazing, or the fact that there is a whole line of various styles and colors of wet brushes.
Moms, I swear to you, step away from the detangler spray and pick up a Wet Brush.
This week Janise is hosting, be sure to head to Mama in Heels to link up with us.

My mom came home with one of these from her hairdresser and was raving about it! Nice feature. – J
